You’ve probably realised by now that I eat a lot of avocado, and I mean a lot, it’s my favourite of all time.. So I’ve been experimenting with avocado smoothies, previously I blogged about an avocado and banana smoothie, this one is like that but with a bit more flavour. Here goes!
What you need:
Handful of spinach
1 cup of soya milk
1 tablespoon of cacao powder
5 ice cubes
1 teaspoon of maple syrup (if needed)
If you are preparing this in advance (I wasn’t), you can chop the bananas and freeze them, but if you don’t have time like I didn’t it totally still works. So chop your avocado, banana and strawberries, plonk them into the blender along with the rest of the ingredients and blend until it’s smooth. Now this breakfast smoothie is so thick, you might need to add some what’re depending on the size of your banana. This is perfect for a work breakfast because it’s so thick it really feels like a substantial brekkie, it keeps perfectly in the fridge overnight too.
